Dr. Sophie Jobin
Hi, I’m Sophie and I love being an optometrist. I grew up in Montreal but have been calling Alberta home for more than 20 years. I am passionate about vision therapy and how it can help kids of all ages (0-99 years old) learn how to use vision to its maximum.
When I am not working, you will find me reading, crafting or playing games with friends. I have 2 teenagers, a son and a daughter and I love watching them grow up.

Q. What is the first thing you wanted to be when you grew up?
A. I saw a photo of a retina in an encyclopedia at age 10 and knew that I wanted to be an optometrist.
Q. What’s your favorite season and why?
A. I love Fall, the variety of colours and the sound of crunchy leaves under my feet. I also love the smells and cool breeze of the season. Unfortunately, it eventually leads to Winter too soon!
